We host a number of small group programs including our popular Craft Club held through the School Term and our School Holiday Program. We also host special one-off sessions throughout the year.
The aim of the program is to engage children in a setting where they are interacting with other children in a natural, fun and interesting way, to support them as they rehearse and develop skills.
Outcomes of our group programs include:
- Develop friendships
- Understand emotions in self and others
- Navigate social situations
- Develop social communication, including conversation skills
- Develop self-regulation, including planning and processing skills
- Building confidence and self-esteem
There is also an opportunity for children to work through any concerns they have in a supportive environment, which have included topics such as bullying, friendship challenges and difficulties with siblings.
